Aenigma Tempestatis

2016

This work strongly evokes Giorgione’s “Tempest.” The half-naked figure at the center undergoes the storm, with symbols that in the 16th century were considered as bad omens. The fortified city behind the central figure also recalls the city of Padua. At the bottom, you can see the sketches of the main characters of the work, where the figure rests, like the roots of a tree.
