Il Ponte che sognava diventare un Unicorno

2014

The giant bird is now sharing its knowledge with the figure with the bird’s nest box on its head. This figure holds a book of mythology in its hands, open to the page with the Myth of Mars, the Roman god of war. The bridge is incomplete, not broken, and must overcome a spiritual obstacle (the river and the alchemical blue). In its dream of becoming perfect and pure (the white unicorn), the protagonist seeks help from mystical feminine generative forces, represented by various symbols hidden in the image. To symbolize the hope of success, in the background, the dawn is glimpsed, a symbol of rebirth and continuity.
